The International Marketing Coursework offers a balance between theory and practice. The program favours the study of real world situations to allow students to develop their decision-making and analytical skills. The case study method is stressed. Typically, a case study presents an individual - usually an international marketing manager - with a real decision to make, background information on the organization and its environment. Students are expected to identify the key issues in the case, use the knowledge earned in the course to evaluate different options, make a reasonable decision and recommend a clear plan of action.
