Description

This course is aimed at the MBA students to get a basic unfold in the international business world, where business English is used as a basic communication tools in the global world. The grammar is a subsidiary goal, as taken for granted as a secondary education subject matter, considering that this course of language applied to the company has essentially communicative focus.

It is a language teaching applied to specific purposes, in this case learning a series of structures and business phenomena (Anglo – Saxon and International), with the emphasis of learning focused on the handling of essential communicative strategies or communicative skills type that any company specialist must know in  order to interact effectively in it.

Also, students of Business English in MBAs should know not only the communication strategies outlined above, but also be able to do it through the use of specialized terminology, and even through a series of concepts or lexical fields in which such terminology is framed and are the results of cultural, legal and business difference between the source language (Spanish) and the target language (English).

In this regard, and given the status of language teaching in Spain, we must emphasized that the student should seek, above all, communicate successfully and without complications, in an environment that will not move with Anglophones but with all the nationalities, the majority of whom, they do business through English as  the communication language.
