Goals

After completing the course the participant will be able to:

  • Develop an overview policy of people management as critical and strategic role.
  • Understand the map of Human Resources function
  • Provide new opportunities for all professionals who have management responsibilities in any functional area and require an active role in managing people as well as keys to their development.
  • Diagnose organizational schemes and present their development
  • To understand a key concept in the management of people: “the Powers” and recognise their use in the various levers, with special emphasis on the selection.
  • Know and understand the existing working environment in Spain and its similarities and differences with other European Union Countries.
  • Become familiar with basic legal concepts of our Labour and Social Security
  • Be able to understand and identify the various problems that may arise in the area of Labour Relations.
  • Discover the usual interactions between the Department of Labour Relations and other levers of Human Resources.

 

 Student Profile

ENAE Business School is very conscious of the fact that every teaching institution is built by all and must be very careful about participant selection right from the very start by analysing their CV, qualification certificates, admission exam and through a personal interview of the student by the program director. Depending on the program, ENAE Business School carries out tests to evaluate language competence.

Most of our students come from the business world about 80% of ENAE’s students are graduate professionals and executives who wish to update their knowledge and improve their skills. These students come from different academic backgrounds mostly engeneering, business, law, economics, communication and humanities.
We encourage young and talented graduates with entrepreneur spirit to be involved in our programs as a fast track to achieve their goals in the business World.

Elena Méndez Díaz-Villabella, Director of enEnvolucion, a professionals network in Human Resources Management and personal development. She has previously worked at Hewlett-Packard, C.A.S.A., CapGemini, HAY Group and Europraxis in different areas such as technology, human resources and strategy. She is a professor at IE in the Senior Management Program (SMP) and MBA executive, apart from participating in other programs of different fields: Real Estate, Family Business, Audiovisual, Pharmacy, Communication and In-company Programs. She is as well a professor at IED, where she teaches in the course on Communication and Fashion (Human Resources Area).

Timetable: This course is delivered on Friday from 16:30 h. to 21:30 h. and Saturday from 9:00 h. to 14:00 h
